Chapter 237: Don’t Want to Endure Anymore

Ye Hao felt relieved after hearing that.He was afraid that Gu Yi would think about that unhappy time again, so he quickly changed the topic.

"Yiyi, I have to go to the army in a bit. I’ll come to see you next week, okay?"

Ye Hao said with a slight awkwardness and a bit of unease.

"Alright, it’s fine. You go ahead, my dad is here, don’t worry."

"I also want to make some for her, but I don’t even know where she is now. Are you asking me to take it to her school? Won’t that make her angrier at you?"

"You hit me, damn it, who set me up back then and did those nasty things, I’ll fight you."

Yang Lin’s pent-up grievances erupted.

She charged forward, trying to scratch Chen Jun’s face.

Chen Jun kicked Yang Lin, hitting her chest directly and knocking her heavily to the ground.

Yang Lin tried to get up, but her stomach twisted in pain.

Seeing Yang Lin’s condition, Chen Jun’s mother knew things were bad.

She couldn’t even stay happy about Chen Jun reprimanding Yang Lin.

She hurriedly attempted to help Yang Lin up.

Even though Yang Lin was pale with pain, she still used all her strength to push Chen Jun’s mother to the ground.

Being older, Chen Jun’s mother felt a tingle in her back and couldn’t get up for a while.

Chen Jun’s mother couldn’t worry about herself now and anxiously shouted at Chen Jun.

He rushed forward, picked Yang Lin up, and dashed out.

Yang Lin, near unconscious, still clawed desperately at Chen Jun’s face.

When Chen Jun got Yang Lin to the infirmary, the doctor was startled to see her clothes soaked with blood.

Chen Jun’s face was a mess of scratches too.

After a brief examination, the doctor told Chen Jun.

"You need to find a car and get her to the military hospital in the city. The baby can’t be saved, and she needs a procedure. I’ll give her a hemostatic injection now, else she’ll not make it with this bleeding. Hurry up."

The doctor yelled at Chen Jun, who was standing in a daze.

Chen Jun snapped out of it, quickly running outside.

The commotion at Chen Jun’s house was heard by many in the family quarters.

Yet, no one came to check.

Yang Lin’s usual arrogance and Chen Jun’s mother’s deceptive kindness made others unwilling to get involved.

It wasn’t until Chen Jun got a car from Ye Hao to take Yang Lin to the city military hospital.

That Chen Jun’s mother could slightly recover and slowly made her way to the bed.
